What information do we collect about you?
Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, and phone number.
How will we use the information about you?
We take your privacy seriously, and will only use the personal information we receive about you in order to process your order, manage your account and, if you agree, to email you about other products and services we think may be of interest to you.
We will not share your information with any third parties for marketing purposes.
We may subcontract third parties to provide specialist services on our behalf under contract. For example, we use Woo Commerce to power our online store, and on-line payments are handled by either Stripe or PayPal. This means that these companies may also process your data. Whenever we ask another organisation to provide a service for us, we ensure that they have security measures in place to protect your information at all times. In processing your order, we may send your details to – and also use information from – credit reference agencies and fraud prevention agencies.
We use reasonable organisational, technical and administrative measures to protect any Personal Data that may be held within our organisation. We store customer data in our (security monitored) office premises, and our customer records are held for a minimum of 7 years – for purposes of HMRC audits or inspections. Our website only stores a log of any contact form submissions made – which is deleted on a regular basis, along with a record of orders received. It does not store any identifiable payment details.
In the event that any data we hold is compromised, we will notify you and any relevant authorities within 72 hours by e-mail with information about the extent of the breach, any affected data and provide details of our action plan for measures to secure the data and limit any possible detrimental effect on the data subjects.
If you feel that the security of any data we may hold has been compromised, please contact us immediately.
We may occasionally send you information about our products and services which we feel would be of interest to you. You have a right at any time to stop us from contacting you for marketing purposes. If you have consented to receive marketing, you may opt out at a later date.
